Maps and Flags of Ecuador

For a frame of reference, this is a map of Ecuador within South America.  As for distance, it takes roughly 4 hours to fly from Quito, Ecuador to Miami, Florida.

This is a map of Ecuador and it's provinces. I'm living in Loja, one of the southern-most provinces.
Loja is located  in a valley within the Andes Mountains. The climate in Loja is very temperate.  Jeans and t-shirt weather during the day and a light jacket at night. During the rainy season you're guaranteed a storm or shower between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. Traveling to Loja by bus from Quito takes roughly 15 hours. Traveling to Guayaquil by bus from Loja will take between 8 and 9 hours.
